Book Fair

We have a Scholastic Book fair 3 times a year, October, March, and June. Volunteers are needed to come in during the school day to help students select and purchase books. We also offer a family shopping night for you to come in with your children who both attend and don’t attend Taunton and shop for books.

The funds earned from the book fair help support the Makers Space, the Reading and Book Rooms, teacher classrooms, & Read Across America week.

The Sharing Closet

Help stock the shelves to benefit families in our Taunton Community who are in need.  Donations are collected on the first Friday of every month.

School Spirit Wear

School spirit wear and accessories are sold throughout the school year. 

Volunteers are needed to help put the order together to send to the vendor and sort once received.

Spirit Nights

Each month a local business sponsors a spirit night for Taunton School. On those nights you can dine in or have delivered. A portion of the proceeds will go back to the PTA to help support programs in the school.

Holiday Shop

The PTA hosts a Holiday Shop for students to purchase holiday gifts for family members and friends. Volunteers are needed to help the students shop for the perfect gifts.

The funds earned from the holiday shop help support the many Cultural Arts Assemblies throughout the school year 

Family Fun Events

Some events we have had over the years for families to come and enjoy are:

*Ice Cream Social

*Trunk or Treat

*Frosty & Santa

*Yoga/Zumba

*End of the year Carnival

 At these events we have fun activities such as face painting, bounce house, petting zoo, ice cream, painting etc.

 These events require a lot of planning and help be successful. We need volunteers to plan, set up, run activities during the events and clean up.

These are family events, and we don’t look to raise funds for the school, but any profits made are given to the school in any areas where needed.

Fundraisers

Throughout the year we have many different fundraisers that support the school.

Volunteers are needed to help one day after school to distribute orders.

Plant Sale
During the fall, we offer mums, corn stalks, and hay bales for purchase. During the spring, we offer a plant sale for students to shop for plants for their homes. This is usually around Mother's Day. Volunteers are needed to help students shop.

The funds earned from the plant sale help support some of the costs of busses and nurse for School field trips.

Hospitality

This is a great way for working parents or parents with small children to contribute. Volunteers are asked to provide goodies for PTA meetings and school functions.

Trading Post

Once a month, our little Eagles get to shop for fun items such as pencils, erasers, brag tags etc. during their lunch periods.
