I have been a small business owner in Westerville for 18 years and have watched this community grow in ways I didn't think were possible! During this time I also became a mother to three awesome kids who all attend Westerville schools and who are at three different points in their school pathways. I have always felt that this school system is exceptional and have felt compelled to show my support as a business owner for our district. Two years ago, I built a network to engage the community in financially supporting the local schools as they continued to face gaps in education funding. Through this program we were able to raise almost 25,000 since 2023 for various PTA and PTO's, and for school sports and clubs in Westerville. Building this program allowed for a continued partnership with the local schools as well as continued financial support for these programs. This year I decided that I wanted to take that community connection one step further, by serving our district as a member of the Board of Education.
I believe whole heartedly in the opportunity and dignity that public education provides for our kids. I would love the opportunity to serve the community and the district at this level.
