Bio

I am a fifth year PhD candidate in Georgia Tech's School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences working with Dr. Frances Rivera-Hernández in the GT PLANETAS group.

I grew up in Mountain View, California where I discovered a love for space and astrobiology when I was 16. I received my B.S. in Environmental Earth and Soil Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in March 2021, and started my PhD at Georgia Tech in August 2021 after being accepted through the AGU Bridge Program.

I love exploring Atlanta by bicycle and public transit- riding bikes is my favorite form of climate action! I manage the Georgia Tech Starter Bikes repair shop where we offer free bike repairs and mechanical training, and lead group rides to help folks build confidence riding on city streets. In the rare event I'm tired of biking, you may also spot me skateboarding or motorcycling.
