Teaching

I have taught courses on Introduction to Sociology and Demography, Quantitative research methods, and International migration to undergraduate and postgraduate students in universities in France and Spain.

During the academic year 2023-2024 I am teaching the following courses at the University of Salamanca:

• Global Migrations, Human Trafficking and Refugees, Grado Global Studies (3rd year)

• Socioestadística Avanzada, Grado Sociología (2nd year)

• Laboratorio de Análisis de Encuestas, Grado Sociología (3rd year)

I participated in the “Development Counts: Data Skills for International Development Careers” project (2019-2022) aimed at understanding the implications of the “Data Revolution” for work in a specific sector - international development - as well as for training of students in social sciences. You can read about our findings on current and future data skills needs here. Results from these interviews were used to develop an online course to "open the appetite" for data skills among social sciences graduates.
