I trained as a demographer and hold degrees from the University of Strasbourg (MSc, 2007), the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD, 2009) and the University of Bordeaux (PhD, 2015). Currently I work as an Associate Professor at the University of Salamanca (USAL) where I teach courses related to Sociology, Migration, and Quantitative research methods. Previously I’ve worked at the French Institute for Demographic Studies (INED), the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the National University of Distance Education (UNED).
My research focuses on international migration and mobility in Europe, with particular attention to families and children, and how public policies shape their experiences. I mainly using quantitative methods and data but am developping mixed methods approaches in my recent work.
