Exam Papers Online is primarily based on papers which the Library receives directly from Schools and includes papers from first, second, third year and honours years and some advanced courses. Specifically requested exclusions are not included.

Please note: for many courses the provision of exams in Spring 2020 differs from previous years due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The relevance of previous exam papers will vary greatly between courses so please contact your course organiser or programme administration team to find out if consulting previous exam papers will be helpful to you as a revision study aid.

A request may be submitted to have a paper, or papers, removed from the web pages by emailing the address below, giving details of the academic year and course title of the paper(s) concerned and the reason for the request.

All exams are administered through the Exam4 software application and graded on an anonymous basis. Students are subject to the Student Disciplinary Code and, as such, self-identification of any kind within the exam is not permitted; nor may they discuss the substance of the exam with faculty or with any other student from the time the exam is first administered until after grades are published.

You MUST be logged into a user-account that has full administrative rights to your device in order to run Exam4. Work laptops are not recommended for use as administrator rights are maintained by the respective organization/company. Users of institututionally owned/controlled devices should contact their IT Department for assistance. Exam4 requires administrator rights every time it is used for an in-class and/or takehome exam.

The Office of the Registrar manages exam conflicts and deferrals. All such requests should be directed to the Office of the Registrar; not to faculty or other administrative offices. Per Academic Policy, students may request to review exams and final papers that have been returned to the Office of the Registrar during a scheduled exam review period each semester. Details and instructions may be found by clicking on the following link: Exam Review.

Download a local copy of the metadata sheet, and add a line of metadata for each exam paper you are submitting, and then email the PDFs together with the completed metadata sheet to readinglists@ucl.ac.uk. There is an example line at the top of the metadata sheet. Feel free to delete this before proceeding.

UQ staff and students can access past exam papers which have been released by UQ Examinations in the last 5 years through the Library, supporting current students in their study and exam preparations.

The copyright in all the past exam papers made available here belongs to the University of Bath. You must therefore obtain permission before copying, redistributing or publishing all or part of any paper.

This collection contains only those exam papers that University of Melbourne departments have given permission to be deposited in the University Library Digital Repository. Due to assessment changes over the past few years, no new exam papers have been uploaded to the collection since 2019. Therefore not all University of Melbourne exam papers are held in the Examination Paper Collection. Also examination solutions are not included.

When accessing exam papers students and staff will need to login using their University of Melbourne email login and password. Login via the link at the top right of all the Examination Paper Collection pages.

At the beginning of each semester, Module Leaders are contacted to confirm the requirements for their exam(s), e.g. exam length, additional materials, use of calculators, multiple choice and timetabling requests. The deadline to respond is the Friday of Week 3.

If you have online examinations, you have several options available. Option 1 is the standard online exam choice, however, if you have professional body requirements, you are able to choose Option 2 or 3.

Option 1 - Standard examination (written or multiple choice). Students will have 24 hours to complete and submit their examination. The PDF exam paper (and any additional materials) will be attached to a Turnitin assignment, which will be available to students from the start time of the exam, and which will close 24 hours later. Students will submit one document via Turnitin, which will be checked for plagiarism etc.


Option 2 - Time-limited written examination. Students will have 24 hours to start their examination. When the student clicks to start the exam, this will also start a timer running. Students will have to complete and submit their exam before the time expires. Students will submit one document for each question they answer - these will be checked through Turnitin for plagiarism etc. Due to the time taken to set this option up, it is only available for modules with a PSRB requirement for the exam to be time-limited. Check with your Programme Lead if you are not sure if this applies to your module.


Option 3 - Time-limited multiple choice examination. Students will have 24 hours to start their examination. When the student clicks to start the exam, this will also start a timer running. Students will have to complete and submit their exam before the time expires. The exam will be automatically marked, based on information provided by the Module Leader about correct answers, negative marking etc. Due to the time taken to set this option up, it is only available for modules with a PSRB requirement for the exam to be time-limited. Check with your Programme Lead if you are not sure if this applies to your module.


Question papers, mark schemes and examiner reports for the most recent exam sessions (within the last 12 months) can be accessed only by registered centres. If you don't have an Edexcel Online account, please contact your Exams Officer. 


Please note that past papers from the October and November 2020 examination series have summer dates on them. This is because the assessment material was reused from the cancelled summer 2020 examination series.

Not all lecturers choose to make exam papers available. The ones we have are available in Past Exam Papers on the library website. Login to the Library via CDU Portal is required to access full text documents.

Students have the right to access their examination scripts. Schools must retain scripts for 12 months to allow for possible appeals and re-marking, after which time they may be disposed of in confidential waste. Students may access their examination scripts for discussions with academics if they place their request in writing to the examiner within 28 days of the issue of the official results.

This database contains full-text files of past examination papers voluntarily released by faculty members since 1991. Certain programmes may have been terminated, restructured, or renamed. 2020 exams: The 2020 exams included adjustments recognising the impact of COVID-19. The 2020 exam papers are not directly comparable with the external assessment specifications for any other year.

The Library can only provide access to exam papers released to it by the Examinations Office on the advice of the Unit Co-ordinator. Approximately 30% of exam papers are released. If you cannot find the exam paper you are looking for you will need to check the availability of the exam paper with your lecturer. Some lecturers do not allow their papers to be published. Exams with multiple choice sections are also not usually published.

All questions are taken from the 1859 exam paper, but you might notice that some of the answers reflect our contemporary understanding of certain topics. Answers may also include events from later than 1859, so keep your eyes peeled.

Effective revision begins at the start of your course with the notes you make and the methods you use to follow up on lectures and tutorials. This will lay the foundations of your learning. Closer to exams, you will need to spend more concentrated time on the process.

Exam papers database - this links through to the database of past examination papers for all subjects. You may need to log in with your university username and password to access the database if you are off campus.

Revision Teqniques - Here is a collection of revision related videos, that may help aid your preparation for your exams. Key elements include creating a study plan, reviewing your notes and taking rest breaks.

Each ADIT exam paper includes a set number of questions, of which you will be expected to answer a specified number within the available exam time. ADIT exams typically include a mixture of scenario- and essay-based questions, some of which may be divided into multiple sub-questions.

In addition to the exam questions, some exam papers will include supplementary texts such as relevant tax tables or treaty extracts. This content may be relevant to one or more questions, and you will be able to refer to it throughout your exam.

All ADIT exams have a closed-book policy, meaning that only the permitted books are allowed during the exam. You will not be able to access sources beyond the supplementary and permitted books in your exam; doing so will violate the exam rules. 152ee80cbc
