The Flinders Island bakery won first prize for the best curried scallop pie.

When - Saturday Night 3rd August you will find us having Family Fun and Frivolity on the Foreshore. Join us near the Skate Park for a Bonfire, Fire pots and a Flamin Piano, plus an energised display of tricks from the OG Roller Bladers from Melbourne. Local school children will parade the flags and lanterns to herald in the Fiesta Eve activities.

Meet Massimo Mele, food director at the Silos Hotel. He and the Grain of the Silos team have jumped on board with the Scallop Fiesta and Pipers Brook Vineyard for a classic Italian-Style long table lunch.

The Tassie Scallop Fiesta is back again, and what better way to celebrate than by pairing fresh local scallops with a glass of Jansz Tasmania sparkling wine.
Join us at our Wine Room in Pipers River on Saturday August 3rd for our annual Tasmanian Scallop x Jansz Tasmania tasting event.
From 11am-3pm, local caterers Hubert & Dan will bring their flavoursome, elegant and contemporary style to the Jansz Tasmania Wine Room to celebrate the fresh flavour of local scallops and sparkling wine.
This is not a ticketed event, so please come and enjoy at your leisure. A selection of wines will be available for complimentary tasting and may be purchased by the glass on the day.
