Privacy Policy
Last Updated: September 11, 2026
Tasker AI ("the App") is developed as a local-first productivity tool. Your privacy is a core principle of how the application is designed. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
1. Information We Do Not Collect Tasker AI does not maintain external user databases, personal profiling servers, or third-party tracking databases for task data. Your tasks, notes, checklists, and scratchpad entries are stored locally on your device.
2. Google Drive Integration & OAuth Scopes If you choose to enable cloud synchronization, Tasker AI requests permission to access your Google Drive via official Google OAuth APIs using restricted app-specific storage scopes (such as drive.appdata or dedicated file access).
Purpose: Google Drive access is utilized solely to upload, backup, and restore your application data files.
Data Handling: Your data transfers directly between your device and Google servers. The developer cannot view, read, modify, or sell your Google Drive content or personal task data.
Data Retention: Cloud backup data is retained in your personal Google Drive until you delete it or remove the App's access via your Google Account security settings.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob) Tasker AI uses Google AdMob to serve voluntary rewarded advertisements for optional in-app features. AdMob may collect and process device-specific data, including:
IP address and approximate location.
Mobile advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID).
Diagnostic, performance, and ad interaction logs.
For details on how Google processes ad data, please refer to the Google Privacy & Terms Policy.
4. Data Security Local data is protected by Android’s native application sandboxing. Cloud sync data utilizes standard transport encryption (TLS/HTTPS) managed directly between your device and Google Cloud endpoints.
5. User Rights & Data Deletion
Local Data: You can delete your local application data at any time through your Android device settings (Settings > Apps > Tasker AI > Clear Data), or by uninstalling the application.
Cloud Data: You can remove Tasker AI backup files directly from your Google Drive storage or revoke application access through your Google Account Permissions.
