Getting to Tas-Sellum

There are several methods for getting to Tas-Sellum from Luqa Airport;

• Hire car - there are hire car companies in the arrivals hall. Bring a sat-nav (or pre-load the route on Google Maps) to get directions to the apartment as sign posts aren't the best! (Note that cars drive on the left in Malta). https://www.maltairport.com/passenger/getting-here/renting-a-car/
• Cab / Taxi - minicabs can be pre-booked online using services such as eCabs (https://www.ecabs.com.mt/) or Drifter (https://drifter.com.mt/) and they will meet you at arrivals. There is also a kiosk in the arrivals hall for the taxi service. Taxis take about 35 minutes and costs around €33 pre-paid at the kiosk; https://www.maltairport.com/passenger/getting-here/taxi-service/
• Transfer - minibuses from the airport pick up several people and drop them off at their hotels. This can be cheaper, but take a little longer than taxis (https://www.maltairport.com/passenger/getting-here/shuttle-service/ or search "Malta Transfer" for other options). They usually drop off near the Luna bus stop for Tas Sellum, which is a 500 metre walk from the apartment.
• Bus - the X1 bus from the airport drops off at the Luna bus stop too. There are generally buses every 45 minutes most days, but see https://www.publictransport.com.mt/en/route/X1 for the timetable. The fare is about €2 per person.
