Routine cell culture techniques: Cell passage, cryopreservation, and revival of primary cells and cell lines, aseptic techniques and control of contaminations in cell culture.
Virus culture: Culturing Epstein-Barr Virus using HEK 293T cells stably transfected with bacterial artificial chromosome-green fluorescent protein- Epstein-Barr Virus.
Bacterial culture techniques: Culturing, isolation and characterization of clinical strains of bacteria (Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Porphyromonas gingivalis, Fusobacterium nucleatum, Helicobacter pylori, Escherichia coli, and Bacillus subtilis).
Experiments in cell culture: Infection of cells with bacteria and viruses, treatment of cells with various drugs and plant extracts, estimation of multiplicity of infection, cell proliferation assays, cell migration assays, cell viability assays, cell cytotoxicity assays, oxidative stress assays, apoptosis and necrosis assays.
Pharmacognosy: Preparation and characterization of various plant extracts to study their therapeutic/toxic effects on various cells and tissues.
Molecular Biology Techniques: Isolation of DNA, RNA, and Proteins, general PCR, cDNA synthesis, quantitative PCR, sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE), western blotting, enzyme linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA), immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry and molecular cloning techniques.
Omics techniques: Sample preparation, performing and analysis for genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics.

Microscopic techniques: Compound microscope, Inverted phase contrast microscope, fluorescence microscope, laser confocal microscope, and scanning electron microscope
Spectroscopic techniques: UV- visible spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, Nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, Atomic absorption spectroscopy, and Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy
High throughput techniques: Liquid chromatography – Mass spectrometry, Gas Chromatography – Mass spectrometry, and basic working with Sanger sequencing and Next Generation sequencing
Sample concentration techniques: High performance liquid chromatography, ultracentrifugation, lyophilization, and rotary vacuum concentration
Computational techniques:
Basic statistical analysis: Descriptive and inferential statistics using R software, Python, MedCalc, IBM SPSS, GraphPad prism and Microsoft Excel
Analysis of High throughput data: Analysis of genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and lipidomics data on local and remote servers
Drug discovery: Molecular docking and MD simulations
Server management: Setting up and management of Linux based local and remote servers
Periodontics: Oral prophylaxis, maintenance therapy and counselling, periodontal flap surgeries, periodontal plastic surgeries, crown lengthening surgery, frenectomy, periodontal bone regenerative surgeries, dental implant surgeries.
Conservative dentistry and Endodontics: All types of restorations with various restorative material, Root Canal treatment, direct and indirect pulp capping methods, apexification methods, and apicectomy surgery
Prosthodontics: Complete dentures, fixed partial dentures, Removable partial dentures, Crowns and Veneers
Oral surgery: Extraction of teeth under local and general anesthesia, incisional and excisional biopsy, minor surgical procedures.
