The card chooses the person. Sometimes we want to be found and sometimes not, but the cards reflect our own light. This could mean the cards are reflecting the situation at hand, they could be prescribing a remedy or inviting the person to engage/decide.
Tarot is living, it flows, the light is not bound in the images, the light becomes free through them. Tarot engages the reader through memory, conversation, insights and omens from the day. This is what makes it endlessly joyful and mercilessly true.
I lean on RWS imagery but the interpretations are organic for the situation. I use a Hellenistic astrological foundation to assist in delineations, timing & prescriptions. I acknowledge reversals but do not invert the meanings. I often will use reversals as signals of delay or treat them with extra time as they’re asking for attention. Same with those energetic jumper cards or the ones that sneakily stick to the back of another. It's all omen work. I am an intuitive reader and I ground my intuition in my astrological studies, lucid dream practice, plant medicine, myth studies etc. I invite the person to help weave the moment through the cards.
