I mainly do intuitive reading, but I try to use secular language. I think of the tarot as a mirror, or a means to facilitate productive conversation, and I don't like the idea of predetermining someone's future, but I want to strengthen my intuitive abilities. My main goal with reading is simply to do more good in the world. I do observe reversals, but lightly. I'll lay them reversed if that's how they fall, but I will absolutely use the upright interpretation if that feels more applicable.
