Nursing PhilosophyÂ
During my 13-year career as a nurse, I realized that I had developed a set of values and beliefs, which could be described as a personal nursing philosophy, as a result of the knowledge I learned in lectures and from dealing with patients, families, and other professionals.
As a nurse, my personal belief is that we must have the knowledge, skills, and ethics to provide nursing care. As my knowledge and comprehension of these three topics expand, I realize how critical it is to have these three nurses in order to function professionally.
I believe that knowledge is the most important attribute a nurse must possess in order to provide nursing care. Nurses must be willing to go above and beyond.
