UNC Pickleball Club will be hosting our first ever Tar Heel Classic Pickleball Tournament as a fundraiser for our club to take a trip to the Collegiate National Championship in Austin, TX.
Dates: October 8-9
Location: UNC South Campus Recreation Complex (345 Skipper Bowles Chapel Hill, NC 27599)
Events:
Men's/Women's Doubles (Saturday, Oct 8)
Mixed Doubles (Sunday, Oct 9)
Moneyball for Open Divisions (Must have a DUPR rating of 4.0 or higher)
Skill Divisions: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, Open
Age Divisions: All Ages, 50+
Format: Round Robin into Playoff
Fees: Registration - $25, $5/Event, $25/Open Event
Sign Up Restrictions:
1) You can only sign up for an event within 0.5 of your DUPR rating.
2) You can only sign up for 50+ if both players are 50 or older.
3) You can only play a maximum of 2 events: 1 Men's/Women's and 1 Mixed
Registration/Payment Deadline: October 6
Tournament Director reserves the right to combine brackets as needed.
