Dr. Selim has been the inaugural President of the University of East London (UEL) at the European Universities in Egypt in New Capital City. Dr. Selim has previously served at the American University in Cairo for more than 20 years including serving in pivotal leadership roles such as the Vice President of the University Senate, Provost Review Board, Chairman of the University Annual Conference, Chairman of the Economics Department, and Chairman of the University Budget Committee.
