Privacy Policy — Tapzy: Auto Clicker & Macro
Effective 22 September 2026
This policy explains what Tapzy does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Tapzy ("the app") is published by MD Developer Studio ("we", "us"), based in Surat, Gujarat, India. You can reach us at ai.mdonda93@gmail.com.
This policy covers the Android application com.tapzy.app.
THE SHORT VERSION
Your tap points, presets, recordings and settings stay on your device. We never upload them and we cannot see them.
Tapzy cannot read what is on your screen and cannot see what you type. That is a technical limit built into the app, not just a promise — see section 1.
We show ads and collect anonymous analytics and crash reports. That is the only data that leaves your device, and it is handled by Google.
We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or location.
1. THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE — WHAT IT CAN AND CANNOT DO
Tapzy is an auto clicker. Android only allows an app to tap the screen on your behalf through the Accessibility Service API, so Tapzy asks you to enable it. You enable it yourself in Android's settings, and you can turn it off at any time in the same place.
People are right to be cautious about this permission, so here is exactly what Tapzy's service is allowed to do.
It can: send taps and swipes to the screen coordinates you choose.
It cannot:
- read the text, images or contents of any screen. The service declares canRetrieveWindowContent="false", so Android does not hand it that data at all;
- see anything you type, including passwords, messages or card numbers;
- take screenshots or record your screen;
- interact with any app except by tapping the coordinates you set.
That declaration sits in the app's manifest and can be verified by anyone who inspects the APK. It is not something we could quietly change without shipping a new version that says so.
2. WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE
All of the following is stored locally and is never transmitted to us:
- tap points, swipe paths, intervals and stop conditions;
- saved presets and recordings;
- per-app profiles;
- your settings, such as theme, accent colour, language and floating button options;
- your Pro purchase status.
If you uninstall Tapzy, this data is deleted with it. If you export a preset to a file, that file goes wherever you send it and is then outside our control.
The list of installed apps
Tapzy's per-app profiles feature lets you apply different settings to different apps. To show you a list to choose from, Tapzy asks Android for the apps on your device that have a launcher icon.
That list is read on your device, only when you open that screen, and is never sent anywhere. Tapzy deliberately does not request the QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission, which would give a far broader view of what you have installed.
3. WHAT LEAVES YOUR DEVICE
Advertising
Tapzy shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve them, Google may collect and process:
- your device's advertising ID;
- IP address, and approximate country or city-level location derived from it;
- device model, operating system version, language and screen size;
- whether you saw or interacted with an ad.
We do not receive any of this in a form that identifies you. We see aggregate counts of ad impressions and revenue.
Google's use of this data is governed by its own policy:
https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Buying Tapzy Pro removes the ads, and with them the ad-related collection described in this section.
Analytics and crash reporting
Tapzy uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to find crashes. These collect:
- a randomly generated, pseudonymous app instance identifier;
- device model, OS version, language, country and app version;
- in-app events such as "a run was started" or "a preset was saved" — never the contents of your presets, tap coordinates or recordings;
- when the app crashes: the stack trace, the state of the app at that moment, and the device model.
None of this is linked to your name or email address, because we never collect either.

Purchases
Tapzy Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Your payment details go to Google and never pass through Tapzy. We receive only a purchase token confirming that the purchase happened, which the app uses to unlock Pro features.
Updates
Tapzy uses the Google Play In-App Update API to check whether a newer version exists. This is a request to Google Play; no personal data is involved.
4. WHAT WE NEVER COLLECT
We do not collect, and have no way to obtain:
- your name, email address, phone number or any account credentials;
- your contacts, calendar, photos, files or messages;
- precise GPS location;
- the contents of your screen, or anything you type;
- audio or video from your microphone or camera.
If you email us for support, we of course see your email address and whatever you write to us. We use it to answer you and for nothing else.
5. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY EACH ONE EXISTS
Accessibility service — the only way Android lets an app tap for you.
Display over other apps — draws the floating start and stop button.
Foreground service — keeps a run alive and shows an ongoing notification.
Notifications — the ongoing notification, which carries a Stop button.
Vibration — optional haptic feedback.
Ignore battery optimisations — optional. Stops the system killing long runs.
Run at startup — optional, off by default. Restores your last preset.
Exact alarms — optional. Starting a run at a set time.
Advertising ID — ads. Removed if you buy Pro.
Every optional permission can be refused, and Tapzy keeps working without it.
6. YOUR CHOICES AND YOUR RIGHTS
Ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, under Privacy, then Ads. You can opt out of personalised ads in the same place. Buying Pro removes ads entirely.
Analytics. Uninstalling the app stops all analytics and crash reporting. If you would rather have an in-app switch, write to us and say so — we will add one if people ask for it.
If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR). Our lawful basis is your consent for advertising and analytics, and legitimate interest for keeping the app working and secure. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability. Because we hold nothing that identifies you, the practical route for most of these is your device settings and Google's own controls, linked above.
If you are in India (DPDP Act, 2023). You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, and the right to grievance redressal. Contact us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law. You may request details of what is collected by writing to us.
To exercise any of these, email ai.mdonda93@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask for information that lets us confirm the request relates to your device.
7. CHILDREN
Tapzy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. HOW LONG DATA IS KEPT
Data on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Analytics and crash data are retained by Google under Firebase's retention settings, currently up to 14 months for analytics events and 90 days for crash reports. Advertising data retention is governed by Google's own policy.
9. SECURITY
Data stored by Tapzy is held in the app's private storage, which Android isolates from other apps. There is no account, no server and no password, because there is no Tapzy service to log in to.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
