This Privacy Policy describes how the Snap to Recipe mobile application ("App," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our service.

We only collect information necessary to provide and improve the App's core functionality, including recipe generation, saving, and usage tracking.
A. Information Collected via Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-in (Authentication)
When you sign in to the App, we use Google Firebase Authentication (Android) or Apple Sign-in (IOS)
Data Collected By Google/Apple and Shared With Us: Your Google User ID, Display Name, and Email Address (Apple Sign-in allow you to hide your email).
Data NOT Collected By Us: We do not collect or store your Google/Apple password. Authentication is managed entirely by Google/Apple.
B. Image Data and AI Processing (Sensitive Data)
To provide recipe generation, the App interacts with photos of receipts and food:
Selection: The App accesses your photo library only when you specifically select an image to scan.
Cloud Processing (Ephemeral): Uploaded images are sent to Google Cloud Vision and Gemini APIs for the sole purpose of extracting ingredients and generating recipes. The images are not stored on our server after processing.
Non-Retention: We do not store your original food images or receipts on our servers. Once the AI extracts the text, the image is discarded by our system.
Local Result Storage: The text output (the recipe) is returned to your device and stored in your local device database only.
C. Automatically Collected Data (Usage and Diagnostics)
Token/Credit Balance: We track your "Credits" in a secure database to manage service limits.
Diagnostic Data: Information related to app crashes and performance via Google Firebase.

A. Local vs. Remote Storage
Locally: Your generated recipes are stored on your device. Deleting the app removes this data.
Remotely: We store your Email and Token balance to ensure you don't lose paid features if you switch devices.
B. Data Deletion Rights
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
In-App Deletion: Navigate to the Profile section and select Delete Account. This will immediately wipe your Firebase record and Token history.
Web-Based Deletion: If you have uninstalled the app, you can request deletion via our web portal: https://sites.google.com/view/tapnow-legal/deleterequest
All data transmitted between the App and Google Cloud services is protected using Industry-standard Encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Your data is encrypted while in transit to prevent unauthorized access.
The App is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be notified via the "Last Updated" date above.
