TapByTap: Hydration (“TapByTap”, “we”) is designed to work offline. We respect your privacy and keep things simple.
We do not collect personal data on our servers.
TapByTap does not require an account, and we do not maintain a backend database for user data.
Your hydration entries (water/drinks logs), reminder settings, and theme preferences are stored locally on your device.
If you choose to connect Apple Health (Premium feature), TapByTap may request permission to:
Read water intake data (Dietary Water)
Write water entries you log in the app to Apple Health
Apple Health access is optional. You can enable/disable it anytime in iOS Settings or in the app’s Settings.
If you enable notifications, TapByTap schedules reminders on your device based on your awake hours. We do not send notifications from a server.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple (StoreKit / App Store). TapByTap does not receive your full payment information.
TapByTap does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps and websites.
TapByTap may include animations from LottieFiles used under the Lottie Simple License.
Since data is stored on your device, you can delete it anytime using:
Settings → Reset and start over
This removes your hydration data and settings from the device.
8) Children’s Privacy
TapByTap is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes.
