1. About these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Tap Counter (the “App”), provided by Flowbit Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App. If you are a minor under the laws where you live, use the App with any consent and supervision required from your parent or legal guardian.
2. The App
Tap Counter is a general-purpose counting tool. It lets you create and name multiple counters, increase or decrease values, choose increments and colors, set goals, reorder counters, and use optional sound, vibration, and screen-awake settings. Core counting functions work offline. Advertising and links to external services require an internet connection. You do not need to create a Flowbit Labs account to use the App.
3. Permission to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the App for lawful personal or business counting purposes, subject to these Terms. Do not use the App to violate applicable law or another person’s rights, interfere with its operation, distribute malicious code, or copy or redistribute the App in ways not permitted by law or an applicable license.
4. Your Counter Data
You control the labels and numbers you enter. You remain responsible for their accuracy and lawful use. Counter records and preferences are stored on your device; we do not provide a developer-operated cloud synchronization or recovery service for them. Android or your device provider may back up or transfer app data according to your device settings.
Deleting counters, clearing app storage, uninstalling the App, device failure, or restoring a backup can affect your records. Keep a separate record of important information. A reset changes a counter’s value and is not the same as deleting all stored app data. See our Privacy Policy for storage, retention, and deletion details.
5. Advertising and Charges
The App is supported by Google AdMob advertisements, including banner and app-open ads. Ad availability depends on connectivity, region, and service availability. Tap Counter does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. Your mobile provider may charge for data usage.
Advertisements and linked websites are provided by third parties. Their offers and services are governed by their own terms. We do not guarantee or endorse an advertised product merely because an advertisement appears in the App.
6. Intellectual Property
The App’s software, design, and branding belong to Flowbit Labs or their respective licensors. Third-party components remain subject to their applicable licenses. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or your rights in content you enter.
7. Appropriate Reliance
The App is a convenience tool, not a certified measuring instrument or a safety-critical system. Verify important counts independently. Device conditions, interruptions, accidental taps, or software errors can affect results. Sound and vibration depend on device settings and hardware. Keeping the screen awake can increase battery use.
8. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, or discontinue features, subject to applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every device, or indefinite support. Where legally required, we will provide notice of material changes. The Privacy Policy will be updated if our data practices change.
9. Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation or suitability for a particular purpose. To that same extent, Flowbit Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses caused by use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or any responsibility or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ending Use
You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may withdraw permission to use the App if you materially violate these Terms, subject to applicable law. Provisions concerning ownership, liability, and dispute resolution continue where their nature requires it.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without depriving you of mandatory protections under the laws of your place of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Any unresolved dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect is subject to those Terms, except where separate acceptance is required.
