App: Tap Counter (탭카운터)
Developer: Flowbit Labs
Privacy contact: flowbitlabs@gmail.com
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Flowbit Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with Tap Counter (the “App”). It covers the ad-supported App, including Google AdMob banner and app-open advertising. You do not need a Flowbit Labs account to use the App. The App does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions.
2. Counter Data and Preferences
The App stores counter names, counter identifiers, values, increment settings, goals, colors, ordering, and app preferences on your device. Preferences include display choices and optional sound, vibration, and screen-awake settings. This information supports counting, goal display, and restoring your settings when you reopen the App.
We do not operate a server that receives or synchronizes your counter records. We do not send the text of your counter names or your saved counter values to AdMob as advertising parameters. Counter labels are free text; avoid entering sensitive personal information that is not needed for counting.
3. Advertising and Google AdMob
The App uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to request and display advertisements. This involves data processing by Google even though your counter records are stored locally.
Google’s advertising SDK processes technical information such as the device’s IP address, advertising ID and app set ID where available, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information about app or SDK performance. An IP address can be used to estimate approximate location. Data categories and the use of identifiers depend on the SDK, device settings, applicable consent, and ad-serving mode. These data are used for ad delivery, measurement, analytics associated with advertising, security, and fraud prevention. Ad personalization depends on applicable settings and consent.
You can manage or delete your Android advertising ID in your device’s privacy or ads settings, subject to your Android version, and manage Google ad preferences at https://myadcenter.google.com/ . These controls do not necessarily stop all ads or all technical data processing. Any consent choices presented to you should be reviewed carefully.
For Google’s practices, see https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads .
4. Analytics, Diagnostics, and Payments
The App does not use a separate Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Sentry integration. Advertising-related measurement and diagnostics are handled as described above. Google Play and Android can also process installation, stability, and usage information under their own policies and your platform settings. Tap Counter has no active purchase or subscription flow and does not request payment card information.
5. Support Communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever information you choose to include, such as a description of an issue or an attached screenshot. We use this information to answer your request, troubleshoot issues, and maintain necessary support records. Email is handled through our email service provider. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
6. Device Functions and Permissions
The App uses internet access for advertising and external links, vibration for optional haptic feedback, and audio playback for optional count sounds. The screen-awake setting keeps the display on while using the relevant counting screen. These features do not require recording audio. The App does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, or precise device location for its counting functions. AdMob can infer approximate location from an IP address as explained above.
7. Data Sharing and International Processing
We do not sell your counter records or maintain a developer-hosted database of those records. Google receives advertising-related data through its SDK. Our email provider processes support messages. Third-party websites opened from advertisements or links process information under their own policies.
Information handled by Google or our email provider can be processed outside your country of residence, including in countries where those providers operate. Their privacy policies describe their international processing practices and applicable safeguards. We may disclose support information when legally required or when necessary to protect rights, security, or address abuse, subject to applicable law.
8. Data Storage and Retention
Counter records and preferences remain in local app storage until you change or delete them, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App. Android or your device provider may include app data in backups or device transfers depending on your settings; we do not control those backups or offer our own cloud backup service.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request, maintain relevant records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. Information processed by Google for advertising or platform services is retained according to Google’s policies and settings; we do not set a single retention period for that information.
9. Deletion and Your Choices
You can delete individual counters inside the App. A short undo feature can temporarily retain a deleted counter in the running session. Resetting a counter changes its number but does not remove all counter details. To remove all local App data, use Android Settings to clear the App’s storage or uninstall the App. Backup copies, if any, must be managed through the relevant Android, Google, or device-provider settings and may be restored during a later installation or device transfer.
We cannot remotely access or delete records that exist only on your device. There is no Flowbit Labs app account to delete. To request access, correction, or deletion of support information you have sent to us, email flowbitlabs@gmail.com and identify Tap Counter. We may request limited information necessary to verify your request. Requests remain subject to applicable legal requirements and exceptions.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including objection, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local data protection authority. Contact us about information we handle; use Google’s privacy controls for information Google handles.
10. Security
We use the App’s private device storage for counter records and take reasonable precautions for information we handle. Google states that data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device with appropriate access controls and keep your software up to date. We do not promise that locally stored counter records have additional App-specific encryption.
11. Children’s Privacy
The App does not require a user profile or ask users to provide their age. Parents and guardians should supervise use where appropriate. If you believe a child has sent personal information to Flowbit Labs without the necessary authorization, contact us so we can review and address the information in our possession under applicable law. Local counter data can be removed using the device controls described above.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or our practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current revision. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
