About me
Born into a middle-class family in Bangladesh, my fascination with technological marvels has been a driving force throughout my life. Despite having the opportunity to pursue other subjects at various universities, I chose to specialize in Electrical Engineering, driven by a deep curiosity for computer chips, processors, and hardware.
Upon graduation, I embarked on a career with Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd., operating within the sphere of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. It was within this realm that I delved into the intricacies of IT infrastructure, mastering the nuances of servers, storage, and virtualization. I found fulfillment in deploying mission-critical projects and resolving issues within the major data centers of Bangladesh, serving prominent entities such as Banglalink, Grameenphone, Robi Axiata Limited, as well as numerous banks and pharmaceutical companies.
While content in this environment, a yearning to delve deeper into computing chip processing and fabrication persisted. This quest led me to apply to several US universities, resulting in admission offers from all, including the prestigious Duke University with a 5-year Doctoral Fellowship. Ultimately, I decided to stay at the University of Central Florida to pursue my Ph.D.
My doctoral research predominantly centers around Micro and Nanofabrication. Within this domain, I am engaged in the design, fabrication, and analysis of Neuromorphic devices, including Memcapacitors utilizing 2D materials, Ultra-stable Resonators, and Oscillators employing a variety of piezoelectric materials such as AlN, ScAlN, LiNbO3, LiTaO3, PMNPT, and Delay lines. Notably, I have taken a leadership role in overseeing the fabrication and performance analysis of multiple projects, generously funded by Texas Instruments and the US Department of Defense - Army Research Laboratory.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd. (2019 - Aug 2022 )
Position : System Engineer.
I worked in the HPE Enterprise Computing Solution team of SMART Technology Ltd., which is a renowned and the largest ICT distributor company in Bangladesh. I completed more than 45 Professional courses and accomplished 7 Service and Solution Qualification Certificates. In addition to this, I led numerous mission-critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluating the existing systems and providing technical direction to IT support staff;
Implementing changes to the servers, storage, and network infrastructures to enhance performance;
Root cause analysis and mitigating hardware and software‑related issues associated with servers(All Generation HPE ProLiant, HPE Blade & Synergy Servers) and repositories;
Collaborating with the HPE, VMWARE, HITACHI, CISCO, VEEAM, and COMMVAULT for deep drive hardware analysis;
Deploying HPE SYNERGY composable bladed software‑defined infrastructure for hybrid cloud environments;
Deploying HPE SIMPLIVITY hyper‑converged architecture;
Planning, Sizing, and Deploying SAN, NAS, and DAS (HPE 3PAR, MSA, Primera, HPE NAS) storage solutions according to the customer needs;
Configuring Hosts, Pool/CPG creation, Volume creation, LUN mapping and expansions, Snapshot policy creation, and Performance analysis of HPE storage systems;
Disaster recovery planning in a Data Center Environment. Designing solutions to ensure the DC to DR data replication.
Designing, Configuring, and Maintaining Virtual Infrastructure environment using VMware vSphere/ESXi, vCenter;
Creating, Configuring Virtual Machines and Templates, Managing features like HA, Clustering, Compute VMotion, and Storage vMotion;
