Academic Visit
Our academic visit included several meaningful educational experiences that enhanced our knowledge beyond the classroom. We visited Victoria Park and Bore Talav, where we observed natural surroundings and gained awareness about environmental conservation and biodiversity. We also visited Ahmedabad, where we explored the Regional Science Center, which provided interactive learning experiences related to science and technology. In addition, the library visit helped us explore academic resources, books, and research materials that supported our studies. The press visit gave us practical knowledge about media, printing, and the process of news publication. Overall, these academic visits offered valuable exposure, combining learning with real-life observation and experience.
gardening day
Our department organized a Gardening Day, which was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and contribute to a greener campus. During the event, students and faculty worked together to plant trees, flowers, and shrubs, learning about plant care, soil management, and sustainable gardening practices. It not only beautified the department surroundings but also promoted environmental awareness, teamwork, and responsibility among participants. The day was filled with hands-on activities, enthusiasm, and a sense of accomplishment, making it both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Studio activity
The studio activity was an engaging and creative learning experience where we performed scenes from Long Day's Journey into Night by Eugene O'Neill 🎭. Through this activity, we explored the emotional depth, characters, and themes of the play in a practical way. Students participated in acting, dialogue delivery, and stage presentation, which helped improve our confidence and communication skills. This hands-on experience allowed us to understand drama more effectively and appreciate theatre as a powerful form of literary expression.
Literature Festival
The Literature Festival was a vibrant and creative event that encouraged students to engage with nature and express their ideas through art and literature 🌿🎨. During the festival, students participated in various activities such as drawing, poem writing, stone painting, threading, and creating new and unique designs inspired by their surroundings. These activities helped students explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and connect literature with nature in meaningful ways. The festival created an enjoyable learning environment where students shared their talents, exchanged ideas, and celebrated creativity beyond the classroom, making the experience both educational and memorable ✨📚.
