Tania completed her studies in piano performance and piano tuition at the Conservatory in Barcelona, Spain, in 2001, followed by a Graduate Diploma in Music Therapy at UQ in 2004. This combination renders her with a versatile set of skills to be able to teach and provide a musical experience to people that are in search for a slightly different musical experience. This is especially so when teaching people with a neuro-diverse diagnosis (ASD, ADHD, other developmental disorders) that are still wanting to learn music, but need alternative ways of addressing that learning experience, as well as support the students in their creative artistic development as song-writers and performers.
As a piano teacher Tania has prepared students to sit the AMEB exams since 2003. Her music tuition is informed by her training as a musician and also as a music therapist. Over the years she has taught piano to children with a variety of learning difficulties, including speach and language delay, ASD, ADHD, hearing impaired and more.Â
