Born in Barcelona, Spain, Tania grew up in a musical family, learning how to play the piano and the guitar at a very early age, and completed her music studies at the Conservatorium of Barcelona. She was very involved with chamber choirs as a singer and eventually as a conductor in Barcelona, before travelling to Australia in 2002 to train as a Music therapist (UQ) and subsequently as a creative arts therpist (MIECAT).
Since then she has lived in Brisbane and worked mostly as a music therapist in the community, covering a vast array of populations, from children and adults with disabilities, ASD, adolescent mental health, trauma (victims of domestic violence, abuse, substance abuse, children in residential care), refugee and asylum seeking support for children and adolescents in school-based programs, aged care, dementia, palliative care, support groups, and professional supervision.
Tania has presented papers at national, european and international conferences of Music therapy, including world congresses, running workshops and sharing the work done mostly in schools and in residential aged-care. She has contributed with her knowledge on trauma in professional development seminars for people accross the education system.

Accompanying herself mainly with the guitar, and at times percussion, she has sung in several ensembles, dous, trios, quartets, chamber choir and has created much of the arrangements and origianl songs for all these ensembles.
