This is how we do it:
Shop Floor Controls/Systems:
From the receipt of raw material until the boxes are taped and labeled, our barcode-driven shop floor controls track everything.
The system tracks the certified raw material, the certification of the machine operator and the completion of each process step. Quantities and purchase orders are also tracked through production.
No steps are missed because our system controls will not allow it.
Networked SPC:
Our operators are trained to measure critical dimensions and track them using our networked SPC stations. Our Quality Assurance Department tracks the process measurements and feeds back any concerns immediately to the productions floor.
Quality Assurance Process:
Parts are inspected and tested per customer specifications to ensure
that defects are contained. We have experience with laser, sonic, eddy
current, and pressure testing technologies to detect cracks and holes
that can go unnoticed on critical parts. We also have a dedicated staff
to manage our inspection tool and gage maintenance and calibration as well as CMM automated inspection machines and robotic vision-based artificial intelligence driven inspection machines.
