The Tanauan National High School (TNHS) Racketers delivered an outstanding performance at the Area Athletic Meet 2025 held last September 12–13 at Juan S. Tismo NHS, Babatngon, Leyte.

Kian Anoñuevo dominated the Secondary Boys’ Singles division, securing the gold medal and qualifying for the Provincial Athletic Meet 2025.

Other achievers include:

🥈 SG Doubles: Racel Mae Regis & Lyle Jurrien Urbabo

🥉 SG Singles: Princess Joy Batistis & Stephani Mae Juaban

The team’s success was strengthened by the guidance of Coaches Sir Milbert Villacorte and Sir Don Jhay Rios, alongside trainers Sir Wilson Telimban and Sir Marvin Alamodin. The athletes upheld sportsmanship through fair play and respectful conduct throughout the meet.

The Tanauan NHS Boys Volleyball Team showcased exceptional skill and teamwork during the Area Meet 2025, held September 12–14 at the District IV Gym, Babatngon, Leyte.

Coached by Daryl Y. Patanao, the lineup featured:

Ace Sibayan (#2), Daniel Hermono (#5), Christian Capistrano (#7), Sean Naraja (#8), Jethro Cabus (#9), James Macawile (#11), Reschaud Tapacion (#14), Ronald Indic (#15), Jehiel Vivero (#17), and Mark Indic (#18).

After defeating San Miguel (2–0) in eliminations and Palo (2–0) in the semi-finals, the team battled hard in the finals but fell to Alangalang, finishing with a silver medal.

With training support from Carmilo Olguera and Jonnric Batula, the team now prepares to build upon this momentum for future competitions.

In a thrilling finals match against Palo (Bethel), TNHS fought valiantly and finished with a close 4–3 score, earning the silver medal.
