Tammy Schirle, Professor of Economics, Wilfrid Laurier University
I am a Canadian labour economist working as a Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. In my research I tend to focus on retirement decisions, women's roles in the labour market and as caregivers, health, and the importance of Canadian policy for our decisions and well-being. I often teach these topics at Laurier, and co-authored the textbook Labour Market Economics. I also enjoy teaching our first year microeconomics.
