TAMIHA receives and hosts volunteers.

Volunteers help TAMIHA at the orphanage by cooking for the orphans, washing clothes and dishes, preparing the bedrooms, and interacting with the children via sports and education.

There are also opportunities to volunteer at the school, in hospitals and health centres, and with community training in the HIV/AIDS program, and the Women and girl empowerment program.

The opportunity is valued at $280 for one week and an additional $200 for any subsequent weeks.

The cost covers: Accommodation, Meals, Airport pick up and drop off, Swahili lessons, Lukundane barefoot experience, and much more!

Flights and Visas must be arranged by the volunteers and are not included in the cost, but work permits will be organised when the volunteers arrive at TAMIHA.
