In 2007 TAMIHA legally registered as a non-profit charitable organisation. TAMIHA supports orphans, other vulnerable children and women in an area of Tanzania heavily affected by HIV/AIDS.

Mitigate
To mitigate community health problems on HIV/AIDS epidemic, the problems of malaria, TB and STIs.
Support
To support orphans and vulnerable children in identifying and solving their social and economic problems through achieving better education.
Promote
To promote and develop micro-entrepreneurial skills to widows and women living with HIV/AIDS so that they can attain economic independence.
Provide
To provide care and support to women living with HIV/AIDS through home-based care projects.
Research
To conduct research, academic and professional debates on issues that raise awareness and address the SDGs.
