3D Models
This is the motor to my box. It had to be made in 2 parts because the SolidWorks motion simulator doesn't allow things to be separate in the same folder.
This is the switch that was designed for the digital portion of the box
This is the Box Hinge,
This is the arm to my Useless Box. I modeled it after a MiG welding torch, to go with the theme of it.
This image shows the useless box without its shell on; the motor, switch cover, switch, and the battery box are viewable in this image.

Test Prints
This test print was a piece of the Box Hinge cut down to visualize the gap between the Box Hinge and the Box Inside.
This is the Box Inside end of the hinge. The first image of the hinge part shows why i didn't print my hinge portions with supports in them.
This was a test print of the top of the Outside to see if the exterior of the switch could fit in the hole
This is a test print of the Switch Cover to see how large it is and if the hole on the bottom can fit the switch lever in it
Both of these are pieces that are apart of the Box Inside. The yellow print was first and it printed both sides of the print, the brown was the second test print. The first print held the stop button properly, but didn't fit the motor. The second print only printed the motor side and it printed properly.
These two prints went well and on the first try. The first image is part of the Hinge Pin and the second is pieces of the hinge to ensure the fit of the Hinge Pin, they unfortunately broke in transit.
This Image shows the sides of the box. They fit well on the first test print. this print includes the Outside, and the Box Inside.
Electrical
This is the wiring diagram for this project.
The image for the wiring I did for the project isn't a very good picture, but I followed the diagram to the letter.
Final Prints
Unfortunately, some of the printer's settings were slightly off. The bed heat on the printer was too high, causing an effect on the bottom of the print, giving off a stripped effect
This is the Useless Box Arm for the project.
This arm failed to print numerous times
This is the Box Inside.
Supports weren't added to this section properly so a holding portion of the print became frayed
This is the Outside, all of this print including the supports went well.
This is the hinge
This is just the box without the interior parts, it includes the Outside, the Box Inside, and the Box Hinge
