Tall Order Community Health, Inc.

Tall Order Community Health, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome barriers affecting their health, safety, stability, and quality of life.

Founded by Alexandra Anderson, a certified Community Health Worker with lived experience navigating homelessness, hunger, domestic violence, mental health challenges, and complicated social-service systems, the organization was created from the belief that no one should face life’s challenges alone.

Serving Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Dundalk, Essex, Middle River, and surrounding Central Maryland communities, Tall Order Community Health connects people with reliable resources and supportive services. The organization takes a person-centered approach, treating every individual with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect.

Tall Order Community Health connects individuals and families with healthcare, mental health, recovery, housing, food, transportation, employment, benefits, domestic violence support, senior and disability services, autism resources, youth programs, voter registration, and notary services.

Through outreach, education, donation drives, resource fairs, and community partnerships, we meet people where they are, listen without judgment, and help them move forward—one manageable step at a time. 🦒

Through its guiding promise, “No One Walks Alone,” Tall Order Community Health demonstrates its commitment to standing beside community members throughout their journeys. Its giraffe symbolizes standing tall, seeing beyond immediate barriers, remaining gentle yet strong, and helping people reach resources that may otherwise feel out of reach.
