Extract Talkdelta.rar file in your 'D' drive.
Talkdelta access setup folder>Copy DLL folder > paste it in your C drive> copy all the files in the DLL folder except DLL_Reg and paste it in> windows> System, system32 and syswow64 Run DLL_Reg in C drive. (Run as admin).
Talk delta access setup folder(Target folder)>OCX folder> Copy all the files except register file >paste it in c drive>windows> system system32 and syswow64.
Talk delta access setup folder>Resources folder> run .Net application> run Access database engine.
Copy the DLL installer into the root folder>run as administrator>click on register.
Change the system date format to dd/mm/yyyy
To register the license: D drive> target folder> Talk Delta REG RM> Run as admin>enter the details>Register>Done. (Refer Image Talkdelta Registration Window Given Below)
Create a shortcut of talk delta EXE on the desktop.
Run the EXE, complete the settings in Talkdelta EXE as per clients requirement. (Refer Image Talkdelta Setting Window)
Get the confirmation of license renewal from the concerned person.
Check client details.
D drive> target folder> Talk Delta access/ Talk Delta RM> Run as admin>enter the details>Register>Done. Refer the picture
Note down generated code, name and date of installation in your notepad (Compulsory)
Run the EXE, complete the settings in Talkdelta Single User/RM EXE as per clients requirement.
You can always view all your trade related action performed in talk delta by pressing ALT+T (Trade trail)

Check today’s file is generated or not & check file’s path setting.
[Menu>settings>Multiple files upload setting>check file details>save upload setting>save>close]
Switch to manual upload and take upload [F8] / Watch This Video
To create a new user or edit existing users click on
[Menu>Masters> Users>New>Enter the details>save>exit.
Step 1 : Menu>settings>system setting>(check-in) use day reduce in fraction
Step 2 : Menu>Tools>Day reduce>Enter no of days to be reduced (in fraction)
Step 3 : For automatic day reduce:
[ Menu>settings>system settings>upload> automatic day reduce settings>(Check in) use automatic day reduce settings>show and save settings>show>save].
Check DLL version of EXE you're using [C:/DLL folder/install MS Office]
For [(EXE 10.05 use dll version 17.03) (EXE 11.02 use dll version 17.03)(EXE 29.03 use dll version 04.03)]
Check Dll and register dll.[ C:>Dll folder>dll_reg>run as admin]
Talkdelta exe> Menu> Settings> System settings> Live summary portfolio> Show sub total in live summary portfolio.
DLL file is missing or register the old DLL[ C:>Dll folder>dll_reg>run as admin]
Check file configuration settings. Enter proper port numbers on the system in setting form.
Check the broadcast setting. [Talk delta exe>Settings>system settings>broadcast settings]
Or Update the system setting.ini file[Talk delta access setup folder> systemsettings.ini > delete the expiry date and rename I flag =W to A] and check.
Or Rename the existing file system.ini file old and copy the systemsettings.ini file from another machine and paste in the target folder.
May occur while starting live[F7]. Check in registry [Run>regedit>current user>software>vb and vba >Delta soft>Live summary portfolio>total>N to Y] and check system setting in talk delta exe.
Check in registry [Run>regedit>current user>software>vb and vba >Delta soft>Setting>Keep Broadcast always on>Y to N]
Or else Backup Restore still error is showing up then might have to change the PC.
Backup Restore.
Check the file size of the MDB file ( should not be more than 25 / 30 Mb).
Take backup [Make a copy of the MDB file]
If the file size is huge then do a Compact database.
Check your trade files (check for any blank spaces /lines or unwanted lines)
Check the system settings ini file in the target folder.
Check the settings of Delta.mdb file is read-only or not.
Menu>settings>system setting>Live summary portfolio>Apply default grid settings in the live summary portfolio.
Talk delta exe> Run as admin.
Or you need to re-register the software.[If change in the machine or hard disk/database change].
Check in registry [Run>regedit>current user>software>vb and vba >Delta soft>Live summary portfolio>total>N to Y]
Run setup pad application.
Get the trade files from last month’s expiry date.
Give a blank database.
Re-reg talk delta.
Change the date to the present date, Talkdelta exe>Settings>system settings.
Switch to manual upload and take manual upload from the upload menu. [Menu>Upload>Manual upload F9]
Close the form [F10] and check your positions.
Check the expiry date of the portfolio.
Check in registry [Run>regedit>current user>software>vb and vba >Delta soft>Live summary portfolio>total>N to Y]
backup restore
1) setting>system setting>live bhavcopy>click on use portfolio rate increment>Save>f10>
2) file>modify portfolio>portfolio rate increment setting>select script> rate as user want> save>f10
Check the system setting [Menu>settings>system setting>Live summary portfolio>Apply default grid settings in the live summary portfolio.
tick on sub total in live summary portfolio
backup restore
register that particular OCX. file
You’ll have to reinstall talk delta.
Change the system date to last monthly expiry date and create any new portfolio.
Now try Ctrl R to close the form[F10] and change the system date to the present date and check. [eg: if an expiry date was 25/07/19 then change the system date to 24/07/19 and create a new portfolio]
Then check ctrl+r working
You’ll have to change to a blank database.
Or may have to make changes in Delta.mdb [an input table or query is missing]
After making the change the error will be resolved, but another error may occur Error description: Invalid use of Null94: To solve this error you might need to upload contract/security/cd_contact files.
[Let's try to understand this with an example. Suppose today’s date is 08/08/19.]
Change the system date to one day earlier than the present date i.e 07/08/19.
Go to talk delta access folder(target folder)>backup>copy file named delta/delta.mdb of date 06/08/19 (it will be named something like this delta06_08_2019). Go back to the target folder.
Search for a file named delta/delta.mdb and rename it to delta_old. And paste the delta/delta.mdb06_08_2019 the file of 06/08/19 and rename it to delta/delta.mdb.
Now open Talk delta EXE switch to manual upload and take the upload[F8] you can see your positions. Close the form [F10] and change the system date to the present date i.e 08/08/19.

You might need to change your PC.
The date format in the trade file is incorrect. You’ll have generated a new file.
1) Check the trade trail. [ALT T]
2) hand entries in the trade trail delete the unwanted.
3) check with trading terminals integrated net position and match with talkdelta.
4)Still, the position is incorrect then Backup Restore.
Backup restore when position mismatch : [Let’s try to understand this with an example suppose today's date is 08/08/2019]
1) If your position was correct till yesterday (07/08/2019) then you’ll keep system date as of 08/08/2019 and take a backup of 07/08/2019
2) And if you have forgotten to take backup =on 07/08/2019 then change the system date to 07/08/2019 and take backup restore of 06/08/2019.
Close the form[F10] Menu>File>Modify portfolio>Select portfolio>Select expiry date as the maturity date >Change date>Update.
Memory level error. Change or format the PC.
System level DLL is missing. Change/Format the PC.
My computer> properties>advanced system setting>performance>setting>data execution prevention>turn on DEP for all>Add talk delta exe and New pac cap.
Delete from registry editor and add to dep again and check.
Use 29/03 exe check the DLL.
Compact database.
Go to the target folder, copy Delta file and paste it there itself just in case if we misplace anything.
[Let’s understand this with an example suppose today's date is 08/08/2019]
1) Menu>upload>delete uploaded data>select from date (very old) 02/JAN/2018>select to date (To date has to be 6 months earlier from today’s date) 31/DEC/2018>delete. [Skip this step in case]
2) Menu>database>compact database. Close the form [F10].
Menu>setting>system setting>live summary portfolio > show sub total in live summary portfolio.
Close the form (F10)
Menu: File>Modify portfolio>select Nifty>Enable spot rate>update>close
Masters>Script>search by script name>select Nifty>spotname (NIFTY50)>update.
Tools>update spot name>Check on screen 3.
For BankNifty :Menu: File>Modify portfolio>select BankNifty>Enable spot rate>update>close
Masters>Script>search by script name>select Bank Nifty>spot name (NIFTY BANK)>update.

[Note: Always keep the closeout date as expiry date of the month]
Copy the delta.mdb file and paste it in the talk delta access setup folder itself(Just in case we lose our data).
Upload FO/EQ bhavcopy in talk delta access setup folder (Copy and paste FO and EQ bhavcopy in Talk Delta Setup)
Run EXE>Run as admin>Connect to EQ bhavcopy>Add the EQ bhavcopy file. Rate will be shown.
Follow the same steps for FO i.e Connect to FO bhavcopy>Add FO bhavcopy file>Save closeout.
Talk delta EXE>Run as admin>Ctrl R. Positions will be shown.
Menu>Database>Show closeout backup>Ok>F10>form1.
Add talkdelta exe and new pac cap to DEP. [Right click on my computer > properties>adv system setting>performance option>setting>data execution prevention>turn on DEP all program>Add talk delta exe & new pac cap].
Check in registry (for non leaseline users only) [Run>regedit>current user>software>vb and vba >Delta soft>Live summary portfolio>total>N to Y]
Now try opening talk delta exe.
Weekly script missing. Upload the weekly script in your target folder.
Run setuppad
2 Run MDAC_TYP
1. Check the properties of setupad. properties>compatibility>run this program in compatibility mode for windows service pack 2 >run as admin>save.
2. Run Setuppad. [Run as admin]
Check system settings in talk delta. Settings>system settings>tick on show net balance scriptwise. Refer the picture
Theoretical price depends on market rate and strike price(Nearer value)
Also depends on percent kept on settings.[Menu>settings>system setting>format>interest rate 0.00001 or 10]
Error caused due to sudden power cut. You will have to change the pc.
Register the specified ocx file.

Check the system date and trade files date (system date and trade files date should be the same) and take upload.
Sometimes previous year files with same exists. Cut copy the previous years files and make a new folder(Old backup) and paste it there.

Run CR85 for Report issue.

then check in talk delta whether rates are coming or not
If not then check why broadcast is not showing (Disable firewall as it might block the broadcast, disable antivirus for sometime and check).
Use 29/03 EXE.
Spot name and spot flag should be together in screen 3[Ctrl 3].
Always remember to upload latest contract security file.
Map the tokens .(Close the form F10) Menu>Modify portfolio>Map the tokens.
Check if tokens are available in screen 2 [Ctrl 2].

Check the interest rate percentage.[ Setting>system setting>format>interest rate percentage]
Always remember to upload the latest contract security file.
Map the tokens .(Close the form F10) Menu>Modify portfolio>Map the tokens.
Check if tokens are available in screen 2 [Ctrl 2].
Menu>settings>system settings>upload>update future rate on upload >Apply current month’s future rate to portfolio’s of the same group>untick update future rate on upload>save.

Check if currency is enabled or not. [Menu>help>about]
Check trade trail if currency trades are available in trade trail if yes then delete the portfolio’s with currency trades.[Menu>file>delete portfolio[CTRL D]
Menu>Masters>scripts>search by script name (currency portfolio)>select type>currency>lot size 1000>update>close.

Check the Trade files. An empty trade file might have been generated to identify the trade file and delete it.
Lets understand this with an example:[Suppose you have traded in derivatives and didn't do any trade in equity, your trade files for derivatives will be generated and in certain cases what happens is an empty trade file for equity gets generated with 1KB file size. In this case the error pops up while taking upload in talkdelta exe ] You need to identify the empty trade file and delete it.
3) Refer the picture:
See whether the particular portfolio is hidden or not [Menu>tools>hide portfolio settings> and untick the portfolio which is hidden]
Still not then Backup restore one day earlier and check if portfolio is available or not.
Menu>settings>system settings> tick on use hide portfolio.
This might occur due to increase in number of portfolios i.e in system setting we enter the number maximum users allowed as 99.
When only portfolio is shown in screen 1 transit to Screen 3 and check the number of portfolio’s if the count is more than 99 than you’ll have to delete some of the portfolios. [Delete some of the portfolios close the form come to screen 1 and check]
Check if the missing file is available in the specified folder shown in the error dialogue box. Talk delta access setup folder>Videos>upload.avl.
If the file is missing then you’ll have copy the file from other machine. The error will be resolved.
Check if currency is enabled or not. [Menu>help>about]
Run currency patch in target folder. Take upload and check.
Keep system date as expiry date. Open portfolio select the portfolio in which you wish to carry forward equity.
Menu>settings>carry forward equity. [For all the portfolio's you need to follow this]
Close the form, change system date to present date and check.
Run setuppad and Mdac typ exe and check.
Text to access error refers to missing drivers in your system.
How to check missing drivers? : Control panel>Administrative tool>Data sources>Drivers. Check if all the necessary drivers are available or not. If Drivers go missing you need to install the missing drivers.
We will have to check if two scrips are merge or not.
