Welcome To Talena's Tutoring

Hi, my name is Talena and I am a Maths and English tutor with over 25 years of experience. I get results with your children because I am able to put them at ease and make learning fun! 

My qualifications are as follows: Teaching assistant level 3, Bachelor Of Arts (Honours) In Education Studies (Primary) - Upper Second-class Honours.

I work with children and adults to improve their skills in Maths and English but also focus on building their self-confidence whilst doing this.

I tutor English from school starting age up to GCSE and Maths from school starting age up to year 9 sometimes beyond depending on their abilities. I offer 1 to 1 lessons along with small group sessions in person or online located in East Grinstead.

Upon meeting your child I start with an assessment to find out any missing pieces in their education and fix those. Once that has been attained we then build on top of that. I give each child an individual program to suit their needs.
