Founding Japanese branch of US Media outlet. As an Editor with DIGIDAY Japan, Yoshida experienced and contributed to its journey from founding to a phase of substantial growth. He was directly involved in the launch of DIGIDAY Japan in September 2015 and in its subsequent operations. His responsibilities spanned editing, some aspects of business development, and event organization.
Localization of U.S. content. Yoshida established methods and systems for translation, and built an editing pipeline. He adapted vocabulary and knowledge structures for optimal understanding by Japanese business professionals, creating translations for digital marketing that had no effective equivalents at the time.
Production of original content. He created content tailored to the preferences of Japanese business professionals. This included planning and conducting interviews with digital executives from major media companies, reporting in English during the visits of executives from U.S.-based companies, and setting up an editorial system in Japan. He established a translation system for digital marketing, which was adopted by advertising agencies and consulting firms.
Establishing external relations. Through interviews and dissemination of articles, Yoshida built relationships that connected sales and business development representatives with newspapers, publishers, technology vendors, advertising agencies, and advertisers.
Organizing annual conferences. He contributed to the organization of the annual 'DIGIDAY Publisher Summit', a key event in our business involving 60 newspaper/publishing companies and 30 technology vendors, as well as other conferences. Despite the fact that our company had little existing connections to newspapers and publishers, Yoshida leveraged my background as a journalist to conduct sales activities.

As a foreign journalist, I was the first to expose suspicions surrounding the oil fuel subsidies, which made up 22% of Indonesia's government budget. Reporting at international conferences. he has covered events such as the APEC Summit, ASEAN Summit, and bilateral trade negotiations between the Japanese and Indonesian governments. At the APEC, Yoshida focused on regional economic integration initiatives like TPP and RCEP, the territorial disputes in the South China Sea, and bilateral trade negotiations.

Whenever Japanese ministers visited Indonesia, Yoshida made sure to attend briefings hosted by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was able to engage with senior government officials. He has also taken the opportunity to directly interview ministers during press conferences. Notable events covered by Yoshida include international conferences, press conferences, and briefings attended by world leaders such as Shinzo Abe, Hillary Clinton, Wen Jiabao, Lee Myung-bak, Ban Ki-moon, Vladimir Putin, Lee Hsien Loong, Joko Widodo, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, and others. Among his accomplishments was an exclusive interview with ASEAN Secretary-General Surin Pitsuwan on the South China Sea issue.

Professional proficiency in conducting interviews in Indonesian. He has interviewed numerous influential individuals in the language and has gathered information through press conferences and group interviews held in Indonesian at the presidential palace, parliament, and hotels.
Reported extensively on the Japanese business community in Indonesia. This includes coverage of the continuous construction of industrial parks, the relocation rush of Japanese manufacturing industries due to the 'China Plus One' strategy and deteriorating business environment in Japan, and industries such as the automotive and motorcycle sectors, where Japanese companies hold the majority share.
