• My proposal on building a digital field museum was selected for the Natural Experience Activity Planning Contest 2026 of the Ando Foundation (July 2026).

• I conducted a workshop on the gross anatomy of the Reeves’s muntjac (Muntiacus reevesi) head as part of Museum Day for Teachers (27–28 July 2026).

• I led the summer 2026 Science Excursion, “Let’s Build a Digital Field Museum,” combining field observation with photogrammetry and 3D documentation (18–20 July 2026).

• My anatomy workshop for teachers was featured in the Tokyo Shimbun (in Japanese) (July 2026).

Upcoming schedule

• I will present “Auditory-system reorganization in turtles during secondary aquatic adaptation” at the Marine Reptile Conference 2026 in Oxford (7–8 October 2026).

• I will conduct collections-based research on early tetrapod fossils at the University Museum of Zoology, Cambridge (12–13 October 2026).

Past activity

• Conducted a specimen-based research visit at the Ibaraki Nature Museum (4 August 2026).

• Reviewed and scientifically edited the Japanese translations of three chapters of Vertebrate Life Eleventh edition, Asakura Publishing Co., Ltd.（2 August 2026）

• Conducted a workshop on the gross anatomy of the Reeves’s muntjac head for Museum Day for Teachers (27–28 July 2026).

• Led the summer 2026 Science Excursion, “Let’s Build a Digital Field Museum,” and supervised inquiry-based field activities combining natural history observation and photogrammetry (18–20 July 2026).

• My project was selected for the Natural Experience Activity Planning Contest 2026 of the Ando Foundation (July 2026).

• Began mentoring student research projects in the Exedra Research Division, including projects on artificial fossilization, 3D modeling of foraminifera, comparative anatomy, and other student-led research topics (April 2026–present).
