POLLINATION AND GROWTH

Moths fly over towards flowers at night, with an aim to pollinate. But as soon as artificial light strikes their eyes, instead of focusing on the flowers in need of pollination, the moths fly upwards- towards this light. This is destroying the relationship between pollinators and plants, resulting in less fertilization and thus, a decrease in plant growth and reproduction.
