The Takayann Language (Takayann: Takíð Hita) is a Takayo-Alfaridic language, a branch of the North Fulethian / Alfaridic languages descended from the Skyylanic. languages. It is a conlang, meaning it was artificially constructed. It serves as the official language of the Tak Kingdom, and is where the Tak demonym - Takayann Language divide comes from, where Tak is the demonym and Takíð is the language.

Old Folyes, then known as Onyxnese, has been concieved in 2022. Some ancient remnants of the language still remain within the modern Takayann language today. The Old Folyes language used the Greek script, which would be switched out for Latin in late 2022 during the Attolia-Takaya union, which would now be called Middle Takayann. Middle Takayann was an obviously germanic influenced conlang, however in the Lore of Takaya, it is described to be as a result of the South Fulish peoples bringing other languages, mainly Old and Middle English, as well as the Greek script for the Folyes period. As Time went on, Takayann grew closer and closer to the Eskrian Language, eventually being reclassed as a sister language to the Takayann language through the lore.
