　A complex facility in Kagoshima City comprising a residence, a multipurpose Japanese-style room, and an office. The layout plan references the traditional two-room structure found in Kagoshima's long-established folk houses, consisting of a residential wing, a Japanese-style room wing, and a connecting entrance area called the “rainwater gutter space” (hima no ma). An earthen eave wraps around the structure to shield against strong sunlight. The floor height is lowered to allow easy access to the garden for the elderly, featuring tile-finished floors with underfloor heating.
