Arata IFOO Office

　An office building in Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. This project involves renovating the first floor of a recreational facility into an office for IFOO Inc., simultaneously achieving strengthened industry-academia collaboration, contribution to the local community, and effective utilization of the facility. By connecting the interior grid ceiling with the exterior pergola and incorporating plants, a comfortable space is created where indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly. Inside, a large table accommodates meetings and work for multiple people, and the space can also be used as a cafe or for events. The existing kitchen will be utilized as a kitchen studio for cooking classes and similar activities. Flexible zoning achieved through partitions and plants aims to create a versatile space where anyone can choose a place suited to their purpose.
