Yoshida Forest Community Center
A community center designed using the J-Log construction method as a hub for environmental education that leverages the surrounding nature. Two wooden flat slabs are inserted into a forest clearing, creating a generous space where interior and exterior flow seamlessly. The site's elevation differences were also utilized to create a sectional plan allowing continuous use of the rooftop. The aim was to blend into the surrounding environment and provide a place where children can gather with peace of mind.
