Everyone's Home Magano

As part of the Kumamoto Artpolis Project, this initiative establishes gathering places for those affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and the Kumamoto Floods to come together and build new lives. The Environmental Architecture Laboratory designed the community centers in Magurano and Goryo. These single-story wooden structures feature glass walls on three sides and include engawa verandas, aiming to create spaces where residents from diverse backgrounds can deepen their connections.
