Takahiro Inada is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Department of Business Administration, Kyoto University of Advanced Science (KUAS) and KUAS Kyoto Firm Research Center.

Prior to his current position, he received B.A. in Integrated Human Studies from Kyoto University, M.A. in Management from the University of Tokyo, and Ph.D. in Economics from Kyoto University. (He is a graduate of Todaiji Gakuen High School in Nara.

He has visited University of Oxford, Universitas Indonesia, Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, University of Florida (Warrington), and University of Michigan (Ross).


He specializes strategy, organization theory, entrepreneurship, and computational modeling.

He is interested in platform organization diverse team from strategy and org theory perspectives such as routine, capability, control, and governance. 

He is familiar with various research methods, such as longitudinal case study, agent-based simulation, natural language processing, and formal model analysis. 


He has presented his research at international conferences such as Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and INFORMS.

He also has working experience for more than a year as an research intern at Japanese venture capital firms.
