The 2nd TAItech-HAWtech Network Conference-Round Table Meeting
In year 2021to 2022, NKUST and Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences are the representatives of TAITech and HAWTech alliances. We’ve just finished our 2nd Network Conference in June 2021. Along with the conference between 12 universities of Taiwan and Germany, an education exhibition was held to let students and teachers in the universities to understand each other more.
In the conference, the two alliances had discussed various main topics including internationalization strategies, research and industry development projects, and international affairs; with the decision not only to strengthen the five core objectives but to create a platform for universities to share the information more easily.
Through this conference, we have also agreed with some new ideas to be explored in the near future which includes academic proficiency fields, staff exchange scheme HAWtech / TAItech, yearly student exchange, and student summer camp, etc.
Even though COVID-19 pandemic affects international collaboration of universities in many aspects, with new technology, such as distance education and video conferencing, HAWtech and TAItech universities can reduce the impact of pandemic and value every chance for our future collaborations.
