How It All Began

After moving from NC to NYC in 2017, TaVaris worked at a small home health agency. He packed his bento box every day and sought a bit of reprieve from the drudgery of the office by savoring his lunch time. After several comments from coworkers and passersby in the park, and a demand from his partner that she get a daily bento, too, the bento crafting began. Word of mouth spread and a business was born!

At Tadaima, we strive to provide the highest quality food with the lowest carbon footprint. All of our packaging is compostable. Our foods are all-natural, vegan, and whenever possible, locally sourced. Also, to TaVaris' delight, all deliveries are made on bike.
