Welcome to TACT2022, a conference on Topology, Algebra, and Category Theory hosted by TAU, the Topology Research Group within the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Unisa.

The 2022 leg of this international conference celebrates the mathematical life and 65th birthday of our very own UNISAN, Professor Themba Dube.

We extend our gratitude to the Department of Mathematical Sciences at UNISA for their generosity in sponsoring TACT2022.

The conference is the 14th in a series of initiatives aimed at providing a platform for scholars and graduate students in Topology, Algebra, Category Theory, and related areas to showcase their research and ideas, circulating between the three universities, namely, UNISA, the University of Namibia (UNAM), and the University of Botswana (UB).
