At a table, we do many things. We eat, drink, talk, and sometimes disagree. We can also fall in love, study, and play games.
But tables aren't just for those activities. We also pray, take part in rituals, and even summon spirits. Sometimes, we set up special tables called altars with religious, symbolic, or magical objects. Think of King Arthur's Round Table or the Holy Table in Orthodox Churches.
Tables can have deeper meanings, too. Artists might use them to create installations that show mystical or magical ideas. By arranging everyday objects in special ways, they make us think about the hidden meanings in ordinary things.
So, tables (like artist studios) are places where meanings can change, and ordinary things can become magical.
