This policy explains how TableMate handles personal data. TableMate is a table-booking app for restaurant websites built on Wix. It is provided by Gazmir Mema, Quartiere San Giuseppe, Venice, Italy. Contact: gazmema@gmail.com.
Who is responsible
Each restaurant that installs TableMate decides how its guests' data is used and is the controller of that data. We process it only on the restaurant's behalf, to provide the app.
What we collect
When a guest books: name, email, phone number, party size, date and time, optional notes, and the language of the booking. From the restaurant: its booking settings, such as opening hours, number of seats, name, address and phone.
Where it is kept
Everything is stored in the restaurant's own Wix site, in data collections that only the app can reach, hosted and protected by Wix. We do not copy guest data to any other server, and we do not build our own database from it.
How it is used
Only to take, show and manage bookings: to check free seats, to show the booking to the guest through their private link, to show it to the restaurant in its dashboard, and to send the restaurant a booking alert through Wix. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except Wix as our host.
How long it is kept
Bookings are erased automatically after the period the restaurant sets, 90 days after the booking date by default. The restaurant can delete a booking at any time from its dashboard.
Cookies
The booking form does not set cookies or store anything in the guest's browser. Wix may use its own cookies on the site, as described in the site's own policy.
Your rights
Guests can ask the restaurant they booked with to see, correct or delete their data, or write to us and we will help the restaurant do so. In the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page.
