Guidelines for Reviewers

• Provide helpful reviews for all submissions, irrespective of the acceptance decision. The goal is to give encouraging, constructive and detailed feedback (based on the criteria above) that guides authors toward improving their work and contributing to the overall quality of the conference.

• Experience reports may have less emphasis on formal research methods but should provide rich, innovative, and critical experiences relevant to their respective domains.

• Be open to new perspectives, methodologies, contexts of and approaches to the role of technology in education that have the potential to expand the scope of the conference in interesting ways.

Important Considerations for Peer Reviewers:

• Expertise is Key: Peer reviewers are selected for their in-depth knowledge, which is considered invaluable and irreplaceable.

• Limitations of Generative AI: Generative AI tools have limitations, including potentially lacking up-to-date knowledge and the possibility of producing nonsensical, biased, or false information.

• Confidentiality: Manuscripts may contain sensitive or proprietary information that should not be shared outside the peer review process.

• Accountability: Peer reviewers are accountable for the accuracy and views expressed in their reports.

• Transparency: If any AI tool was used to support the evaluation, it must be declared in the peer review report.
