The term privacy refers to the state of being free from public scrutiny or unwanted intrusion, allowing individuals to keep their personal information, thoughts and actions confidential and secure. It includes controlling access to and sharing of personal data, communications, and physical spaces.

privacy does not go alone, It encompasses various aspects which includes the following:

1. Information privacy: Control over personal data, such as financial, health, or identifying information

2. Communication privacy: Secrecy and security of personal communications, like phone calls, emails or messages

3. Physical privacy: Control over access to physical spaces, like homes, bodies or physical belongings

4. Decisional privacy: Freedom to make choices without external influence or coercion

5. Associational privacy: Ability to associate with others without scrutiny or repercussion

What to know is that privacy is essential for individuals to maintain autonomy, self-determination, self-respect, dignity, trust, freedom of expression, safety and security in their personal and professional lives. It's a fundamental human right, recognized by many countries and is protected by laws, regulations and technological measures. It is not permitted for someone to violet/deny someone their privacy. If you do such, you will face serious offense because each and every person has a right to privacy.
