Pressing Your Design

After you have cut your design, you now need to prepare the Cricut EasyPress machine for pressing it onto the T-Shirt. You will need the EasyPress mat at this point.

Step 1 - Use the Cricut Heat Guide to set the right settings for the machine

You will need to consult the Cricut Heat Guide to find out the temperature and time settings that are required for your project.

Please follow these steps to do so,  or watch the Heat Guide Video.

Once you've selected the materials on the Heat Guide webpage, you'll be presented with the temperature and time settings for your project, as shown below.

Step 2 - Power up the Machine

Step 3 - Set the temperature and timer on the machine

The temperature and timer settings appear on the digital window. To set your desired temperature, press the thermometer button to select the temperature unit, this can either be in Celsius or in Fahrenheit. Then, hold down the plus or the minus button until you find the right temperature.

To set the timer, press the timer button, then hold down the plus or the minus button to select the desired time.

Step 4 - Press your design onto the T-Shirt

After setting the temperature and timer, the Cricut 'C' button will stay orange until the machine reaches the temperature you selected; and when it does, the machine will beep and the 'C' button will turn green.

At this point, place the T-Shirt on the EasyPress mat, and iron out any creases for 5 seconds. Then, place your design onto the T-Shirt.

To start pressing, place the machine on the design and T-Shirt, the press Cricut 'C' button, which activated the countdown on the timer. Hold the machine in place firmly, and then release after the beep.

Step 5 - Let your project cool down
